Journey to the Past: Parian

Parian is a Mexican word for marketplace and here I thought
it was because the place houses friars back in the day. This is one of the
oldest and most historic places in the country. The place evolved into a distinct
settlement around 1590.

During the event, there was a trivia hosted on the street
and food kiosks were also available for the hungry tourist. I read somewhere
that they had ice cream! We didn’t know there was any, it could have helped the
humid night. We are now off to go to  JRG Halad Museum.
