My favorite Korean placed closed and I was in dire need of some samgyeopsal. I previously purchased a stove top grill and just needed a few items to complete the set. Been hearing good things about H Mart and I haven’t really had the time nor the purpose to come by and visit. Location is just next to USP campus in Lahug and it’s hard to miss cause it’s open 24 hours daily.
Items like soda, frozen meat, chilled veggies and some beer both local and Korean brands.
They also have the typical junk foods, grains and some dried foods.

What makes them different is that they have frozen meat! Yes, meat for samgyeopsal thinly cut by their deli-slicer and other meat cuts. They have beef and pork. I failed to take a photo of the fridge as it was empty. Meats are packed and mind you the pork belly cut is rather popular. When we reached the place, we were lucky to still get one pack. A pack is enough to eat 4 people at once or save it for the next day which I did. πŸ™‚
Here’s what we had. Romaine Lettuce, I liked eating with the iceberg due to the crunch but either way is good. Kimchi which we got from the same place, it’s the best one there as well. Hot Pepper Paste and the Seasoned Bean Paste which is really good with the meat. Each one costs less than Php100, then the sesame oil seasoned with salt and pepper. Cooked meat slices with onion and garlic slices.
