How to Get Wise Prepaid Card

I have finally started to travel aboard and using a Visa card like my GoTyme and Gcash offers great Forex rate while we were at Singapore and Malaysia. I received an email from Wise stating that they now have prepaid cards available to order. I ordered mine right away and hoped that the card arrives home.

Here are the steps on getting yours:

1. Access your Wise account be it from the app or through the website and login.

2. Head out to Card > Order a New Card

3. Make sure that your name is spelled correct on the card, you have a few options on how it will look like on your card. I selected my full name.

4. You will be then asked for your delivery address.

5. Setup your 4-digit PIN. Make sure this is unique and not easily guessed.

6. Verify your identity.

7. Pay for your order, I selected free shipping yet the card does cost PHP369.60. There’s a fee for credit card payments.

And it finally came, DHL notified me via email, sent a SMS and even called me that they are on the way!

The envelope includes your activation code and steps to follow. Pretty easy to go over. Here’s a short clip on how to activate your card using the code from the envelope.
